From August to October 2020, I was fornutate enough to be reunited with the creative team of Death of England, taking on my role as Assistant Designer to Sadeysa and ULTZ again.
This production was the first to return to the National Theatre following the shutdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which closed the three performance spaces at the NT from March to September. This was the first production to open the newly-configured Olivier theatre, which had been adapted to be performed in-the-round.
As before, my role involved assisting with props researching, providing graphic support, and being another pair of eyes and ears in the rehearsal room. I’m extremely grateful and delighted to say that I was welcomed back with open arms.
